Program Scholarships

Sitka Recreation Foundation established an ongoing youth program scholarship fund to expand accessible recreation for low-income families in Sitka, Alaska. This initiative has supported hundreds of registrations for youth—from preschool through high school—enabling participation in a wide range of community recreation programs, including aviation camp, gymnastics, swim lessons, summer camps, music programs, and afterschool enrichment. By reducing financial barriers, these scholarships promote equity in recreation, youth development, and active lifestyles. We are grateful to community partners and donors who make this program possible.
