Blatchley Outdoor Court Improvements

Sitka Recreation Foundation supported improvements to the covered courts at Blatchley Middle School, enhancing year-round access to outdoor recreation in Southeast Alaska’s challenging weather conditions. Upgrades included improved lighting, wind screens, new court striping for basketball and pickleball, and replacement of backboards. These enhancements strengthen community recreation infrastructure, increase usability, and support active, healthy communities by making recreational facilities more accessible and resilient.
